Monica Swartley is a painter based in Tampa, FL. While she was born and raised in Colebrook, Connecticut, she came south to attend the University of Tampa where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology and first began her creative practice. Both her schooling and her family roots give her a deep appreciation for the natural world-the devotional subject of her artwork.
